The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast that was served was absolutely delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, being close to the sea and within walking distance to the town. We enjoyed taking leisurely strolls along the beach and exploring the nearby attractions. the room we stayed in was comfortable and had a clean and airy en-suite bathroom.
One drawback of the hotel was that the décor felt a bit dated and could use a facelift. In some areas, the wallpaper was even held up with masking tape, which was a bit off-putting.

All in all, attractive and competitive value for money. The hotel was low-budget. A huge variety of restaurants to eat close by, like Bistrot Pierre that was only 10 minutes' walk away. Climate control, ironing facilities and a study table were available in our budget single room. Furthermore, we parked in the private parking: )

We loved our stay here. It's nice comfy base for visiting some must see attractions in Eastbourne. The staff members were pleasant and suggested local places.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, with the room tidied up to perfection every day. The hotel facilities were impressive, especially the onsite parking which was a big bonus. Transportation was easy as the hotel was located in a nice quiet area, just a short 2-minute walk away from the promenade and the beach. The breakfast provided was delicious, with freshly cooked options available. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
For us, it was ideal.

I only stayed for one night, but it was very convenient for the bridge congress that I attended for the weekend. Located near the sea front, and there is a choice of restaurants within walking distance. Nice spacious room and comfortable bed.
No complaints about the hotel itself, however, on settling my account I (and the others in my group) were informed that there was a surcharge as we had booked on the internet. Had we booked with the hotel direct, they would have charged £25 less per night, however when I telephoned the hotel before booking, I was informed that all the rooms were taken! This is contrary to previous experiences when booking hotels on the internet, which have worked out to be much cheaper than booking direct.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the sea. the breakfast was delicious and offered a good range of options. the location was perfect, with easy access to the town center and the seafront promenade.
the shower pressure was a little low, which made it difficult to rinse off soap and shampoo.

The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and comfortable, homely rather than smart. The breakfasts were good and served quickly and efficiently.
I'd have expected a hairdrier in the room.

It was great to have a family room, to sleep myself, my husband, my two children - aged 5 and 8 and we liked the way the two rooms were seperated by an archway. We had a full English breakfast which was great and the staff were very attentive. It was also very clean, the bathroom was spotless and the bed linen was clean and fresh! The room is a mix of old and new.
I personally don't think I could have stayed longer than the one night as the room was cramped with the four of us in it. But for a one night stay it was fine. Think the price we paid was quite high for the size of the room.

Very quiet hotel, well situated. We were staying on the 3rd floor but fortunately it did have a small lift. The breakfast was good. The other positive point was that it has a car parking facility. We would stay there again when in Eastbourne.

Sitting in the breakfast/dining room the cook came to me personally to ask me how I would like to have my breakfast... Supercool! English breakfast was the best I had during my stay in the UK. Hotel is peaceful, great location and all is there.
